It is proposed to close portion of the road reserve adjacent to a house located at 64 Buller Terrace, Alberton and amalgamate the closed road land with the land of the adjacent residential property.
It has been discovered that part of the fence encroaches on Council reserve and the small corner of road reserve between the fence and the boundary of the adjoining property would become inaccessible for Council to maintain. To resolve this encroachment, it is proposed to close the piece of road reserve and merge it with the land of the adjacent house. Closure of the road will also preserve the substantial Chinese Elm Tree located on the corner.
The piece of road reserve that is proposed for closure is shown as the area marked ‘A’ on the Preliminary Plan below:
