The City of PAE is working with the State Government and local sporting clubs to help the next generation of football players on the Lefevre Peninsula.
The newly refurbished clubroom and new female changing rooms for Port District Football Club at Largs Reserve will benefit local girls in the community who are keen to play footy. The refurbishments and improvements to the facilities has resulted in greater equality and inclusion throughout the club, as well as improved disabled access to amenities. It will also increase the number of teams using the grounds with improved space for training, meetings and events.
This upgraded community facility was designed and project managed by the City of PAE in consultation with the Port District Football Club, and funded by a $120,000 grant from the Government of South Australia.
