Programs & Events

City of PAE Libraries offers regular programs and events - from children's activities to upskilling and general interest. To find out what's on, search our Event Calendar for the latest programs to suit your needs.

Children's Programs

Each of our libraries host programs for the little people in your life.

Baby Bounce sessions are designed specially for children aged 0-2 years. Introduce your child to the joys of language by sharing nursery rhymes, stories, music and songs. These sessions are held weekly from 10.30 - 11am. Find a session.

Storytime is held weekly during school term time to encourage the enjoyment of reading and libraries.  Stories, songs, rhymes and a simple craft activity are offered in these sessions for 2-5 year olds. Find a session.

School Holiday Programs are held each school holiday period. Each program is themed and your kids will love the range of free events on offer, which include craft, performers, digital workshops and much more. Sessions are very popular so don't forget to book. What's cool after school? For kids and youth.

You'll find free after school activities across all the branches - please check the Event Calendar for times and locations.

DigiKids for children aged 5-13 years who enjoy technology and would like to explore exciting gadgets and gizmos. No need to book - just bring your enthusiasm and a curious mind. Find a session.

Creative Kids is a space where kids can create, invent and discover! There's no need to book. All activities are held 3.30-4.30pm during school terms. Find a session.

Anime Guild is a new club where kids, aged 8-14, can explore Japanese comics and animation. Held at Enfield Library, Thursdays fortnightly, 4-5pm. Find a session. Find a session.

Teen Scribblers is for ages 13-18 and encourages love for the written word. Meet and help out other talented teens in this new group at Greenacres Library, 4-5pm every Thursday. Find a session.

Anime Club is for teenagers (15 years+) who love all things anime and manga. The club meets at Enfield Library, Thursdays fortnightly, 4-5pm. Find a session.

General Programs

The library hosts many events and programs daily, which includes art and craft groups, author talks, health and wellbeing workshops, technology programs and information sessions. You'll always find something to suit your needs. Search the Event Calendar to find out what's on and to book your spot (bookings are essential for some programs).

Digi Basics

Bring your own laptop, tablet or smart phone to the library and let us teach you the latest tips and tricks. If you have something specific you need help with, we are happy to talk you through it. Find a session.

Computer Classes

We offer a range of training opportunities for customers in the use of computers and the Internet. Each session is hands-on and last for approximately one hour. Basic training is provided on keyboard skills, mouse use and computer terminology. Session can also cover an introduction to Internet Explorer, how to search for information on the web as well as basic email.  Bookings are essential.
