Significant properties include Pine Forrest, former home of Charles Folland an early agriculturalist; Semaphore Water Tower, constructed to maintain water pressure on Lefevre Peninsula when the Jervois Bridge was open; and the Port Adelaide and Lefevre Peninsula Co-operative Society, established to assist the working class secure social and economic advancement.
