The Tri State Games is an annual week long sporting event for people with disabilities. It encourages and promotes sporting activity to people with a disability residing in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, and moves between the three states every two years. The Tri State Games have grown and developed over the years to become Australia’s largest ‘grass roots’ sporting event for people with a disability. Currently around 300 athletes compete each year, supported by around 100 coaches and other assistants. The event is held in the same location in one of the three states over two consecutive years. The City of PAE hosted the event in 2018.
