Roy Marten Park

Council has recently redeveloped Roy Marten Park in Taperoo. The redeveloped park includes redesigned playspaces, landscaping, a fitness trail, a new dog park, shelters, barbeques, car parking, and more.

The redevelopment was funded through the Council's budget, along with a State – Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Grant. The design process involved conslutation with the local community, which began in 2014.

Construction works began in late 2017, and were undertaken in two stages, with Stage 2 works completed in August 2018. To celebrate the new park, the Council is holding an Opening Ceremony on Saturday 25 August 2018, beginning at 11am. Everyone is invited.
