Equipment Grants

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield, through its Equipment Grant Program aims to support not-for-profit community groups and organisations in the delivery of their programs and services where there is a community wellbeing outcome for City of PAE residents.

Equipment Grant Guidelines


Applications are processed as they are received. We aim to notify you within four weeks following your submission. Funds will be available until exhausted.

What Funding options are there?

Applicants can apply for up to a maximum of $2,000 in any 12 month period. The total funding pool adopted by Council for the Equipment Grants in the 2019/20 financial year is $35,000.

Eligibility & Assessment criteria

Not-for-profit incorporated and unincorporated groups or organisations providing community wellbeing outcomes are eligible to apply. Please view our guidelines for ineligible applications





The application identifies a clear outcome for the funding priorities in creating a city that supports community wellbeing (Community theme)



The application demonstrates evidence and/or clear reasons for why the project/ purchase is important for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield residents.



The application clearly demonstrates why an application for project funding is unable to be submitted



The application demonstrates consideration for increasing accessibility for marginalised and/or disadvantaged groups.




How to apply

We provide an online application tool to help you prepare and submit your application. It's called SmartyGrants and it's available via the Apply Now button below. If you're a new user, you will need to start by registering a new account. Once registered and logged in you will be redirected to the "Before you Begin" page where you can start your application.

Applicants can only apply online when funding rounds are open. Support or access to computers and the internet can be provided if required.

Success Stories

The Port Church Inc were approved $2,000 to purchase a projector that facilitates free job ready training opportunities.

Enfield Broadview Men's Shed was approved $2,000 to purchase tools and equipment for the shed

St John's Youth Services was approved $2,000 to purchase an iPad pro, design software and accessories.

Dis-Able Sailing was approved $2,000 to purchase a rudder for the yacht.
