In collecting the stories the information received was far more than could be incorporated in the signs or brochure.

These stories are far too valuable to be lost.  As with all other information in this project the stories are written exactly as they were recorded.  They have not been re-interpreted in any way although they have been grouped under subject headings.

In reading through these stories you will gain a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of the lives and experiences of our storytellers and the roles that they have played both locally and nationally.
