Writing Comp Winners

We called for the submission of short stories that captured our connection with nature, as well as demonstrating skill in the craft of short-form writing. The only condition was that the story involved the land, water or marine environment here in PAE.

We received some fantastic entries this year, and we thank everyone who submitted their work.

Congratulations to this year's winners:

Tora Kowald and Liam Kowald -  joint winners of the junior category, for entrants up to 12 years

Imogen Grbin- winner of the middle grade, for entrants 13- 20 years

Katie Fraser- winner of the adult grade

There are more opportunities to practice nature writing coming up. We will be working with Writers SA to deliver a number of nature writing workshops in October as part of Nature Festival. Details and how to book will be available on our website closer to the time.
