Development

Development Services

The Development Services section consists of Planning and Building teams that consist of Urban Planners, Building Surveyors and Development Inspectors. A Heritage Advisor is available every Wednesday to provide advice concerning heritage related development.

A development application must be lodged for any activity which is identified as development under the PDI Act 2016.

A development approval may include any of and/or all of the following consents depending on what is proposed:

  • Planning consent
  • Building rules consent
  • Consent for division of land
