The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is always working on improving ways for customers and community to get in touch.  Council is committed to the principles of transparency and fairness when handling customer compliments, enquiries, requests and complaints.

As of Monday 4 June 2018, our website address has changed to www.cityofpae.sa.gov.au

Though our www.portenf.sa.gov.au site will continue to work for a while too, if you have bookmarked the Council website, now is the time update these bookmarks in your browser.

Our new site, www.cityofpae.sa.gov.au is completely secure and you will be able continue to use the website in just the same ways as you did before.

Our website is a central location where you can find information about a wide range of Council services and projects. You can also view our weekly news videos and monthly Council meeting summary videos from the website.

This new web address brings it into line with our social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To like or follow us on these accounts, just search for CityofPAE.

There will be no changes in the process to making a request for a City of PAE service online.

We have also taken the opportunity to create a new central email address service@cityofpae.sa.gov.au and this is also now in operation. Please use this for general enquiries, correspondence and requests. The central library email address is now library@cityofpae.sa.gov.auIf you have been dealing with a member of staff via email, their email address before the @ symbol will remain the same but the end will change to the new domain firstname.lastname@cityofpae.sa.gov.au.

There are no changes to our phone number or postal address.

Emails can be sent to this address and will be forwarded to relevant departments as required.  Please note that the City of Port Adelaide no longer operates a fax machine.

After Hours Emergencies

The Council Office is open 8.30am- 5pm, Monday to Friday. Our After Hours Service can receive and log calls, although you may prefer to contact us directly during opening hours.  In the event of an accident where a serious or life threatening injury has occurred, contact 000 in the first instance.

Cleanaway - Wasteline

The Waste Line is a service provided by Council's waste and recycle collection contractor Cleanaway. You can contact the Waste Line for any questions you have on waste and recycling:

  • Trading Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Compliments and Complaints

Council welcomes feedback about its services at any time, but particularly if you have a concern or complaint about the way that we have provided a service. If you are dissatisfied with a product or service delivered by the Council, its staff or a third party that represents the Council, you may wish to complain about the matter.  Our Public Integrity Guide outlines your options should you wish you wish to compliment, or make a complaint about Council.  Visit Council's Online Services website to lodge a compliment or complaint. 

Mayor and Elected Members

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield is divided into 7 wards represented by 17 Elected Members.

The Mayor is elected by the Community and represents the City as a whole.
