Community Centres

Community Centres provide a link for local people and the focus of many daily activities. They are friendly places where anyone can meet new friends, learn new skills and become involved in local community activities. The centres have a focus on skill development and community capacity building.

The Community Centres are friendly places where anyone can

  • Have a chat
  • Learn new skills
  • Become involved in local activities
  • Join existing groups and organisations
  • Volunteer and share skills
  • Meet new friends
  • Access information and referral

They provide a venue to support community groups and their programs that will operate on a longer-term or ongoing basis.
