Citizenship

Becoming an Australian citizen means that you are making an ongoing commitment to Australia and our shared values. It is also the beginning of your formal membership of the Australian community.

All applications for Australian Citizenship are processed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, although we hold Citizenship Ceremonies in PAE every couple of months. We work with the Department of Home Affairs and set the ceremony dates when there are enough candidates to conduct a ceremony. The ceremonies are conducted by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield Mayor, Claire Boan.
