Join us on Sunday 6 December 2026 for the 36th annual City of PAE Christmas Parade.
The parade begins at 10am, followed by a street party from 11am - 3pm.
This family-friendly celebration of our community includes dazzling floats and marching bands making their way down Commercial Road into the Port in a flurry of vibrancy and colour to celebrate the holiday season. It's a great way to welcome in the holiday season.
Stay on for the street party afterwards, featuring entertainment, food trucks and FREE rides. Stop by Santa’s Cave and grab a festive photo.
The Christmas Parade is a FREE family event, no sign up to attend or tickets required. Stay tuned to this page for up to date and official information from PAE including the schedule and plan for the day, closer to the event.

Registrations for clubs, community groups and businesses to participate in the parade are now closed.
Participant subisides
To encourage vibrant colour and dynamic movement in the parade, we are also offering a one-off financial contribution of up to $250 per organisation/entry. This support is intended to help cover the costs of costumes, flags, decorations, and floats. Please note that catering expenses are not included. Applications for resimbursement are now closed.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Christmas Parade in December 2025!
This festival event was a family-friendly celebration of our community, complete with the usual dazzling floats and marching bands making their way down Commercial Road. The 35th iteration of the parade brought thousands of people into the Port to witness this vibrant and colourful celebration. On the day
Road closures will be in place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2025. Members of the general public are encouraged to park at Hart's Mill. Download a Port Precinct parking map.
Although there is parking available around the Port, why not consider public transport to get you to the Parade site?
- Train – Catch either the new Port Dock line the Outer Harbor line to the Port Adelaide or Glanville train station. View the timetable here.
- Bus – There are many public busses that drop off in the centre of Port Adelaide, and routes 117, 118, 150, 230, 232, 252, 254, and 254X stop in Port Adelaide. Find the best route and view the timetable here.
