Our volunteers are the backbone of our community

Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive difference to your community. Our volunteers create strong links between community and council, and strive to make our neighbourhoods positive, vibrant and healthy places to live.

Choosing to volunteer helps others, but it can also help you. Maybe you’ll make new friends, learn something new or share a skill? The possibilities are endless. We’re incredibly fortunate to have volunteers from a diverse representation of backgrounds. Come and join us!

How to become a volunteer

If you can spare just a few hours each week or each fortnight, we’re always in need of dedicated volunteers. We provide a high level of training, as well as insurance and reimbursement for travel expenses.

We’ll make every effort to match you to a volunteer role that suits you while taking into consideration your own special skills, interests and preferences. If you'd like to chat about this with us further or if you have some questions, complete the form below, give us a call on 8405 6871 or email us at volunteers@cityofpae.sa.gov.au
