Green waste drop-off

Do you have organic material that won’t fit in your green bin? City of PAE residents can dispose of bulky green waste overflow material for free at our green waste drop-off site.

Our green waste drop-off service

Most green waste – such as grass clippings, twigs, sticks and branches – can go in your green bin, along with food scraps.

If you have more green waste than you can fit in your bin, or if your green waste is too big for your bin, you can drop it off at no charge at Integrated Waste Services (IWS), on the corner of Hines and Wingfield Roads, Wingfield.

The IWS is open for green waste drop off on:

  • Monday to Friday from 5am to 5pm
  • Saturdays and weekday public holidays from 6am to 4pm
  • Sundays from 10am to 3pm

IWS is closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The IWS can be contacted on 8348 5100.

How to book your green waste drop-off

You’ll need to make a booking before you attend the drop-off site. When you arrive at the site, you’ll need to provide photo identification and proof of residency (driver's licence, rates notice, rent agreement) before offloading your green waste.

Make sure you comply with these conditions

  • Garden waste only
  • No general waste, hard waste or soil
  • Sedans, hatchbacks, station wagons, utes, trailers and vans only
  • No skip bins, trucks, tipper trucks or commercial vehicles
  • Tree stumps accepted up to a maximum diameter of 30 cm
  • A Port Adelaide Enfield resident needs to attend the drop-off site in person

What to do with other types of waste

Only green organic materials can be taken to the IWS drop-off point. If you have other materials to dispose of, please visit the hard waste page.
