Regency Park symbolises the changing face of golf, breaking barriers and making the game increasingly accessible and welcoming to a diverse range of players. This includes a wide scope of community events, construction of Shanx mini golf, and enhancements around the course to make it more welcoming.
Traditionally, golf has been a game dominated by competition and the pursuit of excellence. However, in recent times, there has been a shift. Today, golf is not just about competition; it's about wellness, community, and forging social connections as a game that brings people together.
In line with this, and to help the game evolve, instead of two traditional tees, we have introduced third tee on each hole, marking a departure from the conventional male and female tee choices. They encourage golfers to choose a tee length based on their driving distance and skill level. These new tees are about providing more options and redefining how golf is played. Our aim is to offer a more enjoyable, flexible, and inclusive game for players of all abilities.
Players are now empowered to select tee box colours that best suit their game, further personalising their golfing experience. These ability-based tee boxes level the playing field, emphasising skill and strategy. The course is designed to be equitable, offering every golfer an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and enjoy the game to its fullest.
