This summer, experience Aussie Park Barbies, a brand-new cooking series built around great food and the humble public BBQ.
Filmed in some of the state’s most iconic outdoor locations, the series blends food, storytelling, culture and community spirit. Founded by long-time mates Denis Smith and Phil Donnelly, Aussie Park Barbies has grown from a grassroots cooking concept into a community-focused show that highlights everything that makes South Australia an extraordinary place to live, visit and explore.
Built around three pillars -People, Place and Produce - Aussie Park Barbies shines a spotlight on local chefs, community leaders, multicultural groups, stunning public spaces, and world-class South Australian ingredients.
The series was supported through a Placemaking Grant from the City of PAE, to encourage people to get outdoors, reconnect with local public spaces, and engage with parks, coastlines and barbecues.
