From 5pm to 9pm, Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August, we're inviting families, friends and visitors of all ages to explore a vibrant winter after-dark experience through the heart of Port Adelaide.
At the centre of the activation is Night Walkers, a spectacular installation by creative studio Amigo & Amigo, featuring eight giant neon-lit frogs that will bring a playful burst of colour and wonder to Commercial Road.
Visitors can also experience Shore Lines, a captivating new artwork by Laura Wills and Louise Flaherty with Violet Buckskin, presented as part of SALA Festival. Adding to the experience, SALA Up Late guided tours will offer a unique opportunity to discover local art, stories and hospitality after dark.
Following the trail towards the waterfront, visitors will encounter an immersive mix of light, sound and fire, alongside site-specific artworks from local and interstate artists. A curated music stage by Porch Records, live performances in some of Port Adelaide's most iconic venues and creative activations throughout the precinct will create a lively festival atmosphere across the weekend.
Food lovers will be spoilt for choice, with local markets, food trucks and some of Port Adelaide's favourite dining destinations serving up delicious food and drinks throughout the event.
Free to attend and packed with experiences for all ages, River Night Walk is the perfect family outing this winter. Designed to encourage people to explore, gather and connect, the activation celebrates the creativity, culture and community that make Port Adelaide such a unique destination.
Whether you're marvelling at giant glowing frogs, enjoying live music by the waterfront, discovering local art or simply soaking up the atmosphere, River Night Walk promises three fun-filled nights of colour, creativity and wonder. Bring the family, rug up and join us as Port Adelaide comes alive after dark!
