Home to the Gepps Cross Football Club and Gepps Cross Cricket Club, the new development provides fit-for-purpose facilities designed to cater for players, officials and volunteers of all abilities as part of our Inclusive Sports Facilities Strategy.
The facility includes four inclusive changerooms with accessible showers and toilets, an umpire changeroom, two medical rooms, storage areas, canteen and gym facilities. Sustainable features have also been incorporated, including heat-pump hot water systems and rainwater harvesting.
The new facilities will benefit Gepps Cross Football Club, Gepps Cross Junior Football Club, Gepps Cross Cricket Club and the many community members who use the reserve throughout the year.
The project was funded through a partnership between us and the South Australian Government, with $3.5 million contributed by the City of PAE and $1.25 million from the State Government.
This investment reflects our commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality sporting facilities that encourage participation, support local clubs and help our communities thrive.
