We officially opened the new clubrooms at Largs Reserve last week, delivering a significant new community asset that will support local sport and bring people together.
The state-of-the-art facility will help Port District Football Club and Port District Cricket Club continue to grow, providing modern and inclusive spaces for players, officials, volunteers and the broader community.
The ground floor features four changerooms designed for men's and women's teams, umpire rooms, medical rooms, public toilets, a kiosk and a gym. Upstairs includes tiered spectator seating, office space and a large function room complete with a kitchen and bar, which will be available for community use.
We managed the $7 million project, with $5 million funded by the City of PAE and $2 million contributed by the South Australian Government.
This investment reflects our commitment to delivering quality community infrastructure that supports participation in sport, strengthens local clubs and creates welcoming spaces for people to connect, celebrate and thrive.
