Historic Reserve Information
Dr. Alfed Henry Bennett (1867 - 1930) took a broad and philosophical view of life and as a medical man, encouraged his patients with a spirit of hopefulness. He was always ready to help a friend in need and was noted for his generous and kind disposition. In 1926 he donated this land to be developed and maintained as a leisure and recreation grounds.
