Historic Reserve Information
Folland Park was named after Charles Folland, who settled in the area in 1842. These 3.5 hectares of Mallee Eucalypt and Native Pine woodland is typical of the vegetation which once existed on the Adelaide Plains, north of the River Torrens before European settlment. This is one of the few areas of remnant native bushland on the entire Adelaide Plains.
