Overlooking the upper reach of the Port River, this small area is significant due to it's variety of fauna and flora, historical features within the Port River (shipwrecks and log piles) and it's indigenous cultural significance. The southern area of Mangrove Cove is one of the few areas along the inner Port that remains at natural level.
