Historic Reserve Information
Philip Levi (1822-1898) was an early Jewish settler in South Australia. He was involved in both pastoral and the mercantile trade. His pastoralist interests included sheep and cattle, whilst his shipping interest lead to the construction of Levi's wharf, opposite McLaren wharf at Dock 1.
