Historic Reserve Information
The sandhill running circuit (nicknamed "The Snake Pit") at White Hollow Reserve was constructed in 1990 as a joint project between PAE and the South Australian Recreation Institute. In support, Semaphore Surf Lifesaving Club and The University of Adelaide Centre for Physical Health, assisted by volunteering to clear boxthron bushes and rubbish. The project also received support from the Minister of Recreation and Sport. The circuit was named the "Robert Crouch Sandhill Circuit" due to Mr. Crouch's contribution to the project.
