Privacy

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent, or access your communications on our website, unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Enforce the Statements and Notices of council
  • Protect the rights or property of the council
  • Protect the interests of the council users and, or members of the public
  • Lessen a serious threat to a person's health or safety; or comply with the law.
  • The council will not sell, lease or rent its member lists to any third parties.

No attempt will be made, at any stage during a user's visit to the council website, to identify the user except in the event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect council’s data records and logs.

Any personal information you choose to provide will only be used for the purpose for which it was provided and will not be disclosed to other persons or organisations without your prior consent or if required by law.

We further acknowledge the contributions and important role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within our shared community."
