Home Support Vans Service

Home Support Vans Service

Designed for residents who can shop independently but require transport to get there. Volunteer drivers assist with transporting passengers on this service.

  • Residents are picked up from their home and driven to and from a nearby shopping centre.
  • Travel to selected social groups may also be provided.
  • Vans travel to various shopping destinations both within and just outside the Council area
  • Due to space restrictions on the vans, shopping bags are limited to 2 per person. Small portable shopping trolleys or walkers that can be folded may be taken on this service
  • Eligibility criteria applies along with a referral from My Aged Care.

Cost: $6 per return trip
