Halls for hire

Need a space to host a private function or a public community event, like a meeting or a dance, or a wellbeing or exercise class? It’s easy to book a hall for either casual or regular hire.

Looking to book a hall in PAE?

Our community halls are unstaffed venues available for casual or regular hire.

Five of our halls are suitable for one-off private functions, including parties and celebrations. These halls can also be booked on a regular basis, for anything from dance classes to community group meetings.

Three of our halls (Devon Park, George Crawford and Kilburn) are only available for ongoing hire. These halls are not available for casual hire for parties or community gatherings.

Each hall has air conditioning and heating, kitchen facilities, wheelchair access and a disabled toilet. Some halls have onsite car parking.

How much does it cost to book a hall?

Hall hire costs are outlined in the Fees and charges schedule document.

We offer discounts for City of PAE residents and not-for-profit organisations. These are listed in the fees document. Please note Klemzig Community Hall has a higher fee structure on weekends due to its modern commercial kitchen facilities, stage and PA system.
