Libraries

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide high quality public amenities across PAE,
we are making some improvements to the public toilets at Semaphore, Enfield and Port
Adelaide Libraries. As a result, some Libraries will need to temporarily close.

Current scheduled closures:

  • Semaphore Library: from Monday 16 November (approximately 4 weeks)
  • Enfield Library: from Monday 16 November (approximately 5 weeks)
  • Port Adelaide Library: TBC Mid Jan 2021

The improvements will result in Public Toilets that are:

  • Lighter and brighter
  • Easier to clean and sanitise
  • COVID safe (senor taps and soap dispensers)
  • Better ventilated
  • More water and energy efficient
  • More accessible to people with a disability (Port Adelaide and Enfield)
  • Inclusive of a dedicated Parents’ Room (Port Adelaide only)

Programs and Services

  • Semaphore Library staff will continue to deliver regular programs from Port
    Adelaide Library.
  • Some services will be offered via popup libraries in the Semaphore and Port
    Adelaide areas.
  • Enfield Library will host a popup Library from the back of the building.
