Facilities
Council provides the community with a wide range of high quality facilities. Community halls are available for hire by the public for a range of private and public functions. Event types can include performances, seminars, graduations and meetings.
Community Centres can be hired by community groups for regular activities.
The range of venues available means it is easy to find something to meet your needs as well as fit within your budget. Most venues offer free parking and are fully disability accessible.
There are also a number of reserves and garden venues you may wish to consider for weddings and performances. A number of iconic locations around the City can help create an ideal backdrop for events, special occasions and photography.
Conditions of hire apply to all use of Council facilities. Hirers are required to comply with the relevant Conditions of Hire for the venue they wish to book. These are located under Documents on the left hand side of the screen.
