Home library service

If you can’t come into the library due to illness or disability, our monthly free Home Library Service can come to you with books and resources straight to your door. We can also arrange delivery to retirement villages and nursing homes.

Computers

Computers are available for use at all of our library branches with internet free of charge, you just need to be a member of any library in SA. Sometimes there may be a short wait depending on the day. Computers can be used for a maximum of 3 hours per day. If you would like to reserve a computer you can either call the library branch or book online.

Printing

Printing in the library

We have printing and photocopying facilities available at all five of our libraries. We can print A4 and A3 both black & white and colour, single and double sided. Prices range from $0.05 for A4 black and white single sided to $1.00 for A3 colour double sided.

Printing at home

You can also send your printing to your local library from your device and collect it at your convenience that day.

Scanning

Our printers can also scan documents, passports and drivers licenses to either a USB stick or your email address. This service is free.

WiFi

Free WiFi is available at all or our library branches, just look for 'LibrariesSA-Free'. There is no password needed to join! There is a download/upload limit of 5GB daily per device.

Community and meeting rooms are available for use and hire, ideal for your next event, class or meeting. You’ll also find kitchen and audio visual facilities at some sites.
