Living Landscapes Writing Competition

The Living Landscapes Writing Competition highlights the importance of nature writing and its ability to enable us to see the natural world anew. Write and share your story that celebrates our rich and diverse region — the tapestry of coastlines, dunes, rivers, wetlands, mangroves, parks and reserves in the City of PAE.

The deadline for submission for stories for 2023 has now passed. Stay tuned for the announcement of this year's winners in the following categories:

  • Junior Writer (up to 12 years) - $200 book voucher
  • Teen Writer (13 to 20 years) - $500 prize plus a Writers SA membership
  • Adult Writer (20+ years) - $500 prize plus a Writers SA membership and Port Environment Centre membership

Congratulations to the winners of the 2022 Nature Writing Competition, whom we announced at the Festival.
