Neighbour Day
Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of community, encouraging people to take action and connect with others.
During March, communities throughout Australia come together to celebrate Neighbour Day by connecting with their neighbours, providing a focus point for celebrating everything we can achieve together and by living the vision of Neighbours Every Day.
The theme for 2024 is ‘Create Belonging, Share Belonging’. We can all take actions to create and share belonging; for ourselves, our families and our neighbours. We can do this every day by focusing on genuine inclusion and connection, making others welcome, and by building respectful relationships with those around us.

Happy to Chat Benches
Monday 4 March
Every Monday and WednesdayCome and join us at one of our ‘Happy to Chat’ benches for a friendly chat with other community members or one of our ‘Volunteer Chatters’ who attend the bench twice a week. We look forward to chatting with you! Chatters available at The Port Plaza (Outside Kmart) on Mondays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 10am Port Adelaide Library on Mondays at 1.15pm and Wednesdays at 11.15am

Happy to Chat Mum’s group

9.30 - 10.30amCome and join us for a FREE cuppa and find out how to better connect with your community. This is a great opportunity to meet with other local mums in a relaxed, friendly environment and share the ups and downs of motherhood. Group meets weekly on Thursdays during term time.
