Practical, hands on adult education programs helping you take the next step towards your career.

The City of PAE, in partnership with the City of Playford and the City of Salisbury are excited to announce a new Community Learning Program, ‘Build Your Skills’.

These English skills and literacy based programs are ideal for those looking to commence their pathway to further training and employment, as well as those looking to improve key skills to advance their employment prospects. Join us for this enrolment and Basic Skills Indictor (Language, Literacy, Numeracy) session ensuring the program is exactly what you are looking for.

These Adult Education Programs:

  • Provide a friendly, welcoming environment based with libraries and community centres across the City of Salisbury, City of Port Adelaide Enfield and City of Playford.
  • Support you along your journey with service referral to other programs, higher learning and future work opportunities.
  • Are designed to arm you with practical skills for the workforce, including language, literacy and numeracy.

Program subjects include:

  • WHS and basic work safety
  • Digital skills
  • Resume writing
  • Language and Literacy

All programs are FREE.

Bookings essential.
LLN testing required.

This program is delivered as part of the Northern Regional Consortium Employment Pathways Project and is funded by the Government of South Australia.

English for Work and Safety February 2022
9 Week course

Build Your Skills with a FREE 9 week program that will include topics such as:

  • Completing forms
  • Learning to write a basic resume
  • Cover Letters and applications

This program is available at two locations:

Commencing Monday 14 February, 2022 (9 weeks)

  • Time: 9.30am to 11.30am
  • Cost: FREE
  • Location: Para Hills Community Hub, 22 Wilkinson Rd, Para Hills

Commencing Wednesday 16 February, 2022 (9 weeks)

  • Time: 9.30 am to 11.30 am
  • Cost: FREE
  • Location: Bagster Road Community Centre, 17 Bagster Road, Salisbury North

Digital English Skills February 2022
9 Week Course

Build Your Skills with a FREE nine week program that will include topics such as:

  • MS applications
  • Virtual meetings
  • Internet and email

Commencing Wednesday 16 February, 2022 (9 weeks)

  • Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Location: Kilburn Community Centre, 59 Gladstone Ave, Kilburn
