The Wingfield Waste and Recycling Centre

The Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre is a world-class resource recovery and waste recycling operation that contains a collaborative cluster of commercial businesses on a common 94ha site.

The precinct provides a "one stop shop" for waste receipt, processing and recycling by accommodating complementary resource recovery activities. This innovative centre recovers approximately 90% of the nearly one million tonnes of waste materials delivered to the precinct each year.

The precinct has four primary tenants - Orora, Adelaide Resource Recovery (ARR); Jeffries Group and Transpacific Industries (TPI) - which are each involved in providing state-of-the-art waste recovery and recycling services. Collectively, the site tenants provide a comprehensive waste management facility for:

  • Paper and cardboard waste: Orora
  • Construction & demolition waste: ARR
  • Green waste: Jeffries Group
  • Residual waste: TPI
